Salvation

I've been thinking a bit recently about the true depth of salvation. We've looked into it a bit in an online study of Luke and it goes much deeper than what we generally just look at it to mean.

We traditionally in the 'church' we narrowly think of salvation in terms of eternal life, but back in Jesus day, we see Jesus saving people from all kinds of things. Things such as loss of sight, being outcast, sickness, demonic opression or possession and forgivness of sins to name a few.

Jesus came to give us life, and life to the full, not just for eternity but for here and now also. Is there anything you need saving from today? Jesus is good to help - try Him and see. He loves to the point of dying so He can live with you forever.

If you need saving from something like drugs, obsession, impure thoughts, gambling, depression, etc - take it to Jesus now, ask Him to help you and save you from it. Leave me a message or email me at mapleback_simon@hotmail.com if you are wanting this salvation and having trouble claiming it!

Live victoriously and free, in Jesus Name!

Bless ya

"God offers a full report on the gifts of life and salvation that he is giving us. We don't have to rely on the world's guesses and opinions. We didn't learn this by reading books or going to school; we learned it from God, who taught us person-to-person through Jesus, and we're passing it on to you in the same firsthand, personal way."
1 Corinthians 2:10b

If I wanted to know about salvation, you would be the last person I would ask. Actually, I wouldn't ask you at all. Ignorance wouuld be a more informed mindset than your fundamentalist nonsense.

Please don't set yourself up as an authority on matters theological. Your theology is like an overpriced pair of skid-marked second-hand clothing bought at a Salvo op-shop, that doesn't even fit the drug-addicted and mentally retarded derelict who bought it in the first place. You've bought into the Salvo training without having the life experience to understand anything in the real world.

Never trust anyone under 60. And be careful of senile old foos.

Welcome back David, long time no correspondence.

You obviously are either very well educated or have no idea at all! If you are very well educated, you might like to share some of your theology then to correct all the stuff theologians have been teaching for many many years, please, I'd love to know!!

Actually, just reading more of your comment, is that trying to be offensive.. if so then you must have some serious troubles with relationships in your life if you communicate like that.

I'm sorry if you think I don't have enough life skills, when do you have enough life skills though, interesting point!

I hope you recover from your bitterness to the world soon, I'll be praying for your salvation, on many levels.. it's a very big subject which you appear to only understand on a very shallow level, try and go deeper.

Bless ya mate

You can't "claim salvation". There is no human action, thought or intention that can save.

Do you think God is waiting around on the chance that someone might make a decision towards salvation? If you do, the you're the one with a poor understanding of God.

You are wrong, Simon.

I won't be praying for you, Simon, because God doesn't need my advice, like He apparently needs yours.

You are a blasphemous little turd, Simon.

You can claim 'salvation' based on the guidance of the Bible! You're right, there is no human action though, it's totally through grace, we don't deserve it, but God loves us so much, He want's us to have it.

God IS waiting around, firstly since He's omnipresent, He's everywhere at all times, and He want's to give everyone the opportunity to accept this salvation, so yes, He is "waiting around on the chance that someone might make a decision towards salvation".

I'm glad you brought that up so it could be cleared up. I suggest you read the Bible, it's an amazing read, you'll learn so much, there is so much packed into every Chapter!!

You are almost right.. I don't have as much a 'poor understanding' of God, rather a small one since there is a huge amount to learn about someone that is so huge in being. The more I do learn, the more I realise I don't know about Him :)

[Btw, how was I giving advice to God?]
